When it Comes to Water

We know water. We’ve seen our share of houses flood, pipes burst and roofs leak and we have the equipment and experience needed to safely restore your home or business after any kind of water disaster. But there are things YOU can do before our team gets there to save you time and money:
Make sure you turn off the water source causing the flood and remove as much excess water as you can using towels and mops. Reducing the amount of water will reduce the amount of potential damage to floors and furniture. Never try to remove water with your household vacuum cleaner.
Move as many items as you can to a higher location to avoid them getting wet. Separate, clothing, rugs and furniture that are wet as the fabric dyes can bleed into one another.
Call your insurance company as soon as you can to open a claim. We work with all the major companies and will know the specific requirements you’ll need to file appropriately. Giving us a claim number when you call helps expedite the process further.
When you call SERVPRO, give us all the details of your damage – including the number of rooms affected, if the water is standing or moving, and the type of flooring you have. This will help us determine the right combination of equipment needed to mitigate the situation quickly and efficiently.
These things will minimize potential damage and maximize potential savings. We’re ready to assist at a moment's notice with any of your water mitigation emergencies. Give our team a call at 972-496-2441.
