Mold in Unexpected Areas

When we think of mold, we look for it in the obvious places like open areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, or living room. But mold could be found anywhere in the home, like behind the back splash in the kitchen or the bottom of a closet. We received a call to inspect this closet and say if it was mold or not. Tests came back and it was mold. Because it was under 25 sq ft we just needed to cut out. SERVPRO came in and removed the affected material and prepared it for a contractor to finish the job.
